Final Union Station and May 2014 service changes
At RTD, we're committed to building and operating the most productive, efficient transit system for the communities we serve. As we review and develop our family of services, we make necessary changes to our services that reflect continued budgetary challenges faced by RTD as well as changes in ridership and community feedback. The service changes will take effect on Sunday, May 11, 2014.
This service change includes significant changes bus routes serving the downtown area due to the closure of Market Street Station and opening of Union Station Bus Concourse.View the final Union Station and May service changes

Service Development Division
This division is responsible for service planning, scheduling, runcutting, service monitoring, service performance evaluation, and implementation coordination of all RTD services.
What are service changes?
Every year, in January, May, and August, RTD introduces bus and light rail service modifications. These changes help to enhance service for our passengers and enable better connections with bus, light rail, and specialty services. These changes are based on traffic pattern studies, ridership, economic factors, and community feedback as we strive to create the best-possible transit experience.
