Temporary Downtown Light Rail Closure 12/8 and 12/9

LightRTD’s FasTracks program continues to make progress on the West Rail Line between downtown and Golden. As a result of ongoing construction, downtown light rail service will be affected December 8 and 9, 2012. During this time, there will be no light rail service north of the I-25 & Broadway Station. The D Line will have limited rail service between 30th & Downing and the 16th & California and 16th & Stout stations.

Service south of I-25 & Broadway will not be affected.
Connecting bus shuttle service will be available between the downtown area and I-25 & Broadway.

Line D details:

North-Bound:

There will be no light rail service between the I-25 & Broadway Station and the Theater District/Convention Center Station. The D Line will have limited rail service between 30th & Downing and the 16th & California and 16th & Stout stations.
Bus shuttle service will be provided between I-25 & Broadway and Alameda, 10th & Osage, Auraria Campus, Theatre District/Convention Center and 16th & California. At the 10th & Osage Station, due to road construction, passengers will need to walk one block north to the shuttle stop at 11th & Osage.
Downtown passengers heading north to 30th & Downing can access the D Line at 16th & California.

South-Bound:

Downtown passengers heading south to I-25 & Broadway will need to catch the shuttle at 17th and California on the opposite side of the street from the California stations. To access the Theatre District/Convention Center, passengers will need to exit the train or bus at 16th & California Station and walk two blocks south to the Theater District/Convention Center.

Line E details:

North-Bound:

There will be no light rail service north of the I-25 & Broadway Station. Bus shuttle service will be provided between I-25 & Broadway and Alameda, 10th & Osage, Auraria West, Sports Authority Field @ Mile High and Pepsi Center/Elitch Gardens. Due to construction at Denver Union Station, bus shuttle service will drop-off and pick-up at Market Street Station.
At the 10th & Osage Station, due to road construction, passengers will need to walk one block north to the shuttle stop at 11th & Osage.

South-Bound:

Downtown passengers heading south to I-25 & Broadway will need to catch the shuttle at Market Street Station.

Line H details:

North-Bound:

There will be no light rail service between the I-25 & Broadway Station and the Theater District/Convention Center Station. Bus shuttle service will be provided between I-25 & Broadway and Alameda, 10th & Osage, Auraria Campus, Theatre District/Convention Center, and 16th & California stations.
