Backup Service and Detours for Women's March, Saturday Jan 21

Backup bus and rail service will be put in place this Saturday, January 21st in order to accommodate riders getting to and from the Denver Women's March taking place in downtown Denver.

These routes are expected to have increased ridership and will be operating backup service:

  • Flatiron Flyer: RTD will monitor and back up regularly scheduled service with extra buses assigned as needed leaving Downtown Boulder Station and all stops along this route.

  • Free MallRide: Extra MallRide buses are planned to move participants between Union Station and Civic Center Station (Colfax & Broadway).

  • All Local routes and the 120x: RTD will monitor and back up regular service with extra buses as needed.

  • Light Rail: On all D and H trains an extra car will be added for additional capacity.

For riders living in the Westminster area, you can park at Westminster Station near Federal Boulevard and 71st Avenue and ride the B Line to Union Station. The B Line runs on an hourly schedule.

Backup service is put into place as needed to accommodate for capacity overload.

Several bus routes will be operating on detours during the event. Be sure to check your route schedule prior to arrival to the downtown area.
