Weekend bridge work affects University of Colorado A Line service this weekend

Commuter rail service on the Regional Transportation District (RTD)’s University of Colorado A Line will be affected for 24 hours this weekend by construction work on the Central Park Boulevard Bridge, and train riders should plan on about an hour of additional travel time between Union Station and Denver Airport Station.

Construction work will affect service from 3 a.m. Saturday, November 17 through 3 a.m. Sunday, November 18 to enable project contractor Kraemer North America to perform bridge widening work. The University of Colorado A Line will need to be powered down during this time frame due to its high voltage and proximity to construction crews.

No rail service will be offered at any of the University of Colorado A Line stations, and bus shuttles will serve passengers in its place.

Schedules are as follows:

Saturday shuttle service
Departing Union Station: Between 3:15 a.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, every 15 minutes.

Departing Denver Airport Station: Between 4:12 a.m. Saturday and 1:57 a.m. Sunday, every 15 minutes.
