Description Of Work:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivery of revenue and non-revenue items, customer service, execute scheduled service changes of RTD schedule and route information and maintain stop information. Receive and maintain timetable inventory, prepare orders for delivery or mail-out.
Distribution of revenue, non-revenue items, public timetables and other printed materials to RTD divisions, terminals and offices, contracted companies, government offices, schools, libraries, retail outlets, customer and display locations.
Responsible for handling, securing, pickup and transport of revenue, non revenue items and monies including but not limited to items such as Monthly Passes, Tokens, Ten Ride Ticket Books and currency to RTD offices from RTD terminals and offices, government offices, schools, libraries, retail outlets and customer locations.
Execute the timely and accurate change out of RTD Bus Stop, P-N-R and Light Rail route/schedule information and signage at all RTD stop locations throughout the RTD region of operations. Provide delivery of all related service change materials, orders and trailblazers to RTD Divisions, Terminals and Contracted companies.
Select and prepare orders of timetable, brochures and supplies for delivery or mail out to RTD divisions / terminals and offices / contracted companies, government offices, schools, libraries, retail outlets, customer and display locations. Maintain postage and meter machines utilized in preparing items for mail-out, report and post funds as needed for replenishment of funds to postage account.
Receive and replenish timetable orders into primary inventory room and secondary area of mailroom, prepare and palletize old inventory as needed for recycle. Maintain the timetable supply and rotation of updated timetables in delivery vehicles. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the inventory rooms, recycle room and up-ramp rooms.
Maintain expected standards of customer satisfaction by servicing accounts in a timely and professional manner, proactively address customer concerns and provide resolution. Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
Inspect /audit bus and light rail locations for data accuracy, informational updates and vandalism of all signage, route and schedule information. Report issues and replace or re-install signage as needed. Install and maintain mounting hardware used for displaying of shelterboards within display frames.
Distribute mail to the ATU office.
Responsible for maintaining the safety and internal /external sanitation of delivery vehicles utilized in this position. Report Maintenance concerns to Supervisor and Maintenance Department.
Other job related duties as assigned.
Must have a valid Colorado Drivers License and an acceptable driving record. (not more than 5 points assessed against license in past two (2) years.)
Six months experience in a distribution environment.
One year of direct customer service experience.
Working Knowledge of Denver Metro / Boulder areas
Able to lift 50 – 80 pound boxes of materials regularly.
Work will be performed outside in seasonal and inclimate weather to include operation of vehicles in adverse weather conditions.
Mechanical aptitude and experience working with electric / cordless tools for the removal and installation of route/schedule information at bus, light-rail, P-N-R and passenger shelters.
RTD uniform dress code required.
Mandatory overtime as required which may include weekends
