• Request for Proposal No. 19FH025 Programmable Information Display System Phase II to include the following options: (Option 1: Provide and install a Programmable Digital Information Display System at the US36/Church Ranch RTD park-n-Ride location. Option 2: Provide and install a Programmable Digital Information Display System at the Olde Towne Arvada park-n-Ride location. Option 3: Provide and install a Programmable Digital Information Display System at the Ward Road park-n-Ride location. Option 4: Extended Hardware and Software Support for Years 4 and 5 for the Base System and each Optional location listed above) was issued on Thursday, December 31, 2009. RTD has specified a DBE goal of Fifteen percent (15%) for the work to be performed. A pre-proposal briefing was held at the RTD Administration Offices on Thursday, January 14, 2010. A second walkthrough of the park-n-Rides was on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 9AM at the RTD Operations Center, 1900 31st Street, Denver, CO 80216. The due date for receipt of Proposals has been extended. Proposals will be received by the Contracts division at RTD, 1600 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80202 until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. CONTRACTS AWARDED/PENDING AWARD

• Request for Proposal No. 19FH004 Electronic Registering Farebox System Including Installation, Training and Support was issued on Monday, April 6, 2009. RTD has specified a DBE goal of Nine percent (9%) for the work to be performed. A pre-proposal briefing was held at the RTD Administration Offices on Monday, April 20, 2009. Two (2) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Friday, July 10, 2009 from GFI Genfare and Scheidt & Bachmann and are being evaluated.

• Request for Proposal No. 19FH005 Smart Media Technologies (SMT) System to Deploy Across All Modes of Transportation Operated by RTD was issued on Monday, April 6, 2009. RTD has specified a DBE goal of Five percent (5%) for the work to be performed. A pre-proposal briefing was held at the RTD Administration Offices on Monday, April 20, 2009. Two (2) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Friday, July 10, 2009 from Scheidt & Bachmann and ACS Transport Solutions Inc. and are being evaluated.

• Request for Proposal 19FK001 45’ Mall Shuttle Buses – 2 Prototypes with the Option for 57 Additional Buses was issued on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Three (3) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Thursday, September 10, 2009 as follows: Proterra LLC, Cobus Industries and DesignLine USA and are being evaluated.

• Invitation for Bid 39DB002 Boulder Mechanical Upgrade Project was issued on Monday, November 16, 2009. RTD has specified a SBE Goal of Sixteen Percent (16%) for the work to be performed. A Pre-bid conference was held at the Regional Transportation District, 1707 Exposition Dr., Boulder, CO at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Three (3) Sealed Bids were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 as follows: Wilderness Construction Co. $439,997.00; Colorado Piping & Mechanical $429,700.00; JCOR Mechanical $433,110.00 and are being evaluated. Contract to be awarded to Colorado Piping & Mechanical in the amount of $429,700.00 upon General Manager approval.

• Invitation for Bid 39DE002 East Metro Supervisors Office and Drivers Lounge Remodel Project was issued on Thursday, December 17, 2009. A Pre-bid conference was held at the Regional Transportation District East Metro Division, 14100 East Colfax Ave., Aurora, CO on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Thirteen (13) Sealed Bids were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 as follows: Gamma Construction Co. $52,500.00; Barba & Sons Construction, Inc. $55,656.00; MCL, Inc. dba Meyers-Carlisle-Leaplay Construction Co. $57,000.00; IBEC Construction Co. $57,494.75; Rhinotrax Construction, Inc. $61,924.00; Wilderness Construction Co. $70,812.00; Growling Bear Co., Inc. $72,059.00; Alliance Construction Solutions, LLC $72,800.00; MW Golden Constructors $77,616.00; Tower I Construction dba Tower One Construction Co. $88,500.00; Scheiner Commercial Group, Inc. $106,279.00; ADI Construction $107,700.00; Buildings by Design, LLC $113,669. • Invitation for Bid 29DM007-1 Plumbing Maintenance Services was issued on Tuesday, December 15, 2009. A Pre-bid conference was held at the Regional Transportation District on Friday, January 15, 2010. Three (3) Sealed Bids were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Friday, January 22, 2010 as follows: Plumbline $468,875.00; Performance $429,660.00; ACI $411,944.00. Award is being recommended to Performance Building Services as the low, responsive, responsible bidder.

Some RTD solicitations have DBE or SBE goals, as outlined in the DBE and SBE Program Information pages. It is recommended that you print out copies for the your reference.

All solicitations with DBE or SBE goals will include a detailed explanation of the DBE or SBE program requirements, which must be followed by the Prime Contractor. You can download PDF files of the DBE and SBE Prime Contractor Program Requirements.

Monthly Payment Reports

It is recommended that the RTD Prime and Subcontractor Payment Report spreadsheets be used for all current and future monthly payment reports for all contracts with designated DBE or SBE goals. If the RTD Prime and/or Subcontractor Payment Report spreadsheets are not used for monthly reporting the Small Business Opportunity Office will not be responsible for accurately recording your information.

Only DBE and SBE subcontractors need to be listed on the Prime Contractor Payment Report spreadsheet.
