Three (3) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Tuesday April 7, 2009 as follows: Gika, Inc., Early Morning Software, B2Gnow. Proposals are being evaluated.

• Request for Proposal No. 19FH004 Electronic Registering Farebox System Including Installation, Training and Support was issued on Monday, April 6, 2009. RTD has specified a DBE goal of Nine percent (9%) for the work to be performed. A pre-proposal briefing was held at the RTD Administration Offices on Monday, April 20, 2009. Two (2) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Friday, July 10, 2009 from GFI Genfare and Scheidt & Bachmann and are being evaluated.

• Request for Proposal No. 19FH005 Smart Media Technologies (SMT) System to Deploy Across All Modes of Transportation Operated by RTD was issued on Monday, April 6, 2009. RTD has specified a DBE goal of Five percent (5%) for the work to be performed. A pre-proposal briefing was held at the RTD Administration Offices on Monday, April 20, 2009. Two (2) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Friday, July 10, 2009 from Scheidt & Bachmann and ACS Transport Solutions Inc. and are being evaluated.

• Request for Proposal 19FK001 45’ Mall Shuttle Buses – 2 Prototypes with the Option for 57 Additional Buses was issued on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Three (3) Proposals were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Thursday, September 10, 2009 as follows: Proterra LLC, Cobus Industries and DesignLine USA and are being evaluated.

• Invitation for Bid 39DP003 Park-n-Ride Concrete Repairs, I-25 & Broadway and Airport & 40th was issued on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. RTD has specified a SBE goal of Eighteen percent (18%) for the work to be performed. A Pre-bid conference was held at the Regional Transportation District on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Eight (8) Sealed Bids were received by the Contracts Division at RTD on Thursday, October 15, 2009 as follows: Chato’s Concrete, LLC $216,312.69; Plaza Construction, Inc. $222,650.00; Thoutt Bros Concrete Contractors Inc. $223,928.75; Manion Construction $248,480.00; Quality Paving & Quality Resurfacing Co. $282,851.25; Noraa Concrete Construction Corp. $299,775.00; Technology Constructors, Inc. $318,970.00 and W.J. Shirley, Inc. $409,350.00. Contract to be awarded to Chato’s Concrete, the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $216,312.69. One Hundred (100%) Percent SBE participation.
